Health Question -- urgent?

Anonymous
Asking here because posters on this forum are more likely to have experience with this. One of my kids made dinner and he put a ton of ghost peppers (dried in a jar) into something he was frying on the stove. Now we're all coughing our lungs out. Is this dangerous? Something to be concerned about? We have fans in all the windows and are still coughing.

TIA

The capsicum is a lung irritant, it should get better after a few hours of fresh air but it won’t be pleasant in the meantime.

We got over it. It felt like we were actually harming our lungs. I guess not. Thank you.

Should have filled it for the ghost pepper challenge.

you basically pepper sprayed yourself. It's unpleasant but there probably isn't anything to do about it at this point.
