Republicans should take note of the diversity of the “ right wing” Tories. Either a women or a brown man is going to be the next prime minister! They don’t need to laser focus on white male candidates to get elected.

Yup. And the bonus is that they can still push an elitist very right wing agenda that screws their own voters to the core (see the “happy” ending of Brexit for the rural “forgotten people” who were persuaded to vote for it) Truss is running on tax cuts with public services paid with further borrowing.

I think you mean *Democrats* should take note of that! Here are conservative candidates who also happen to be POC or women and it's no big deal - no one made up a checklist and said their candidates had to check specific "identifiers." They just are who they are. Too bad liberals can't manage to elect candidates without first engaging in an idiotic analysis of their gender and race.
