Trying to combine business with a family vacation & want to treat DW & kids to an amazing vacation while I will be doing some work in the area. Please recommend any safe, fun, family resorts that are super nice.

Lake George is not the Finger Lakes. I'd suggest the Inns at Aurora on Cayuga Lake. https://innsofaurora.com
