I just got a notice of unpaid toll that is 2 years old

Is there a statute of limitations on how long after they can come for you?

I believe I did pay it because I always have an EZpass with auto refill. But I can’t confirm because EZpass doesn’t have my data available on their website longer than 365 days. This is all very frustrating.

Really is the toll that much that you are going to try to get out of it? You know sometimes when you think the EZ Pass is charged, there is a malfunction.

I've had that happen, but if you call EZ Pass, they should be able to straighten it out. They were able to determine that I had in fact been charged that day--in my case, it was some kind of miscommunication between MD and VA.
