How much should we budget for landscaping maintenance?

How much do you pay for seasonal or regular landscape maintenance for a smaller house in NW DC? Lot is <4000sqft.

We were planning to do some things ourselves along with seasonal professional help. Just got a clean-up estimate that was higher than we expected so trying to reset our expectations.

Weeding, mulch, and a spring cleanup runs $1000. It's more if you add in tree pruning.

We pay 600 a month March - December for weekly mowing, several large clean ups, pruning, weeding, etc.

Ok thanks. We received a quote 2x this, and only have one (small, low) tree.

NP. We also have an all inclusive contract.

So when we're calling someone for a quote do they typically offer this or just seasonal clean ups? We can do the lawn mowing and some weeding, but maybe we should still have something more frequent than twice a year.
