I am freaking out! Just got a PREGNANT on a clearblue easy digital..... I can't believe this!
4 weeks ago I was referred to a RE bc my FSH was 21.47 What do I do? I left a message for my doctor, I know there is not much they can do if I will miscarry, but maybe check progesterone or something?!?! I miscarried 7 months ago at 11 weeks, missed miscarriage... I think I am 11dpo and on CD27 Thanks |
| Congrats! How old are you? I stayed with my RE until I was 12 weeks, and had had a CVS. I then went back to my ob/gyn. |
|
Thanks.
I am 29. But I only had an initial consult with Dr. DiMattina this past Tuesday, he wanted to repeat all tests as soon as I got my period.... |

Congrats! I remember you....I'm a fellow young, high FSH'er with 2 great kids!
You should call the RE and speak to the nurse. They may or may not want to put you on a progesterone supplement. If they did it would just be precautionary but may give you some extra peace of mind. I used Crinone for 10 weeks...no big deal! If I were you I would let the RE follow you in the very early days and let them "release" you to the OB in a few weeks. They are more skilled with supporting very early pregnancies. Actually though, you're just a run of the mill pregnant lady. Once you get pregnant the FSH is kind of a non issue. |
| If you call Dominion Fertility they will have you come in for a beta and check your estrogen and progesterone, and you can get an ultrasound sooner than with your OB, but just like one of the PP's said you are just a regular pregnant woman. I just like the extra monitoring at an RE office, it gave me some peace of mind. congrats |

OP here-
thanks all for the responses. I did call DF and they are having me come in for a beta, and also prescribed progesterone, I guess it is standard for all patients with a +. I still can't believe this!!!!!!! I am hoping everything works out fine.... thanks! |
| Wow, congratulations you did it without any help!!! I have high FSH-15 and got pregnant with Natural cycle IVF last year and we are currently trying for DC#2. |
|
OP- Had beta today, it was 45 and progesterone 17.
They will retest on Sunday. I still can't believe it! |
| Congratulations--have goosebumps for you. Remember that FSH shifts around alot--some months I had 5 or 7 others I had 13. |
