How long do you think my supply will last?

I have started day-weaning my 8mo. He gets a mix of frozen BM and formula during the day, and I only do the feeds before bed, at night, and first feed after wake up. How long do you think my supply will last doing that? What are the signs of my supply dropping/baby not getting enough that I should look for?

Your supply will adjust downward to match the demand but can last quite a long time (?years) with that amount of breastfeeding.

At 8 months your baby will let you know if they are hungry. I tried to drop middle of the day feed and my supply did dip and my baby started nursing obsessively switching from breast to breast and got fussy until I gave her some formula. How long supply lasts can also depend on whether you had low supply or adequate supply to begin with. Some women with low supply need more removal to maintain whereas many women with adequate supply nurse their toddlers on the schedule you mentioned long-term without issue.

I stopped nursing more than morning, weekend nap and night at 16M and stopped pumping. Supply meets that exactly at 22M.

Are you mixing formula and BM in the same bottle?

Is there a reason you started day weaning- is it due to supply, if so, then you might get lucky and keep it at this point but it really depends. Are you planning to nurse "on demand" during the weekends?
