What’s the word on the street with Ziegler? Is he sticking around?

I’m still shocked by the way Williams cut and ran during the height of the pandemic. It feels like we got stuck with this lame duck.

Ziegler isn’t going anywhere. Just got a big, well-deserved raise.

Williams already left his Texas gig.

He is staying. As far as superintendents go, Ziegler has been strong. I think parents must forget that when Williams left, he was at war with the school board and there was NO plan for phasing in a return to in person learning. Within weeks of Ziegler being hired there were plans to return kids, an entire pod set up to quickly vaccinate teachers to ensure in person learning could happen, and we never returned virtual. That was a big win especially for the “open schools” crowd but they just moved the goalpost as soon as their kids were back in school to once they were there we were indoctrinating them.

NP with a child in an LCPS elementary school. Why would I be interested in a speech by someone who doesn't even live in the same state, much less in Loudoun, and who doesn't have children in any form of public school? I question his motivations for involvement here, when he clearly has an agenda.
I'm not at all impressed with every single board member, but ours has been responsive and involved, and I have no desire to see him voted out.

Matt Walsh is a carpet bagging troll. Nobody cares about his opinion on schools he doesn’t send his kids to . He doesn’t even live here, despite signing a quickie lease to speak. Ridiculous.
