How do people know the ice cream truck is planning a stop on your street? Do you know the day/time ahead of time? Is there some kind of local ice cream truck finder?
I know it play it's alluring ice cream song for children (and adults) to hear, but other than that, is there a schedule somewhere? The times that I hear/see it, are conveniently when I've just eaten or am indisposed. There's Mr. Softee, and another one. Mr. Softee has an app which apparently serves no purpose whatsoever. How do people plan to meet their ice cream truck? Or is everyone (but us) just that spontaneous? |
| You listen for the music old school style. That's it. |
| The ice cream truck used to stop at the neighborhood pool on a regular schedule (usually during the 15 min adult swim period). Just a thought if you live near a pool. |
| Waiting to hear the old timey music is the best part. What do you want, an app to track the guy? Nooooooo….. |
| In our old neighborhood, one came by around the same time every day. Maybe note when you hear them and see if it's consistent. |
Ours comes between 5:30-6pm on Saturdays. Just in time to ruin appetites for dinner. |
Yes, that's what I want! Or at least a consistent schedule, give or take an hour. I love hearing the music, but a woman needs to know if I need to save room for the nice man with his musical truck of goodness. |
You sound fun |
| I've always wished there was an app for this. |
| I gave the guy $100 and he texts me when he's coming by. |
