I'm trying really hard not snack my way through the day when I'm in the office two days a week. I've gotten into the bad habit of allowing that to happen from time to time. I really like those Sargento balances breaks that have cheese/nuts/raisins--are those a bad 3pm snack? they seem perfect to me and tie me over until dinnertime. Doesn't seem so awful and curbs my cravings for something worse like an entire bag of chex mix. ugh. anyone like these for a manageable snack? |
I do! The protein helps me get through to dinner. I also like "nibbly" snacks that take a while to eat.

I like Yogurt between lunch and dinner. |
They have too much saturated fat for me due to the cheese. About 25% of daily value. I prefer a piece of fruit and some nuts, or homemade humus with a small amount of seseame seeds and vegetables. |
I’d really, really want to include some item of produce of some kind. Sometimes I pack mini cucumbers and slice them fresh at the office then sprinkle with tajin. Add a slice of cheddar and you’d be set. |
Sounds perfect to me! I usually have a string cheese and handful of nuts. |
I love them too, op. I don't think they're the best, but far from the worst. |
Same. I use plain greek 2%. I add a small teaspoon of honey, some chia seeds, and Cinnamon. Fat, protein, fiber, and a little sweet |
I like nuts and dried fruit in the afternoon, but buy these in larger bags, skip the plastic packaging and just take a portion to work in something reusable.
The portion size of the Sargento thing is also not enough for me (not currently dieting and don't have to be that restrictive for maintenance). |
