Luxury car rental. Anyone rent one?

Anonymous
I’m looking to rent a luxury car for my husband’s birthday. I saw a few places online but wanted to ask around as well. Anyone rent a luxury car before? Any place(s) that you recommend?

Check out Turo

If you can’t afford to buy something, you shouldn’t be renting it.

+1 on checking out Turo unless you want something super high end like Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc. You usually need to find a rental agency that specializes in super cars for those.

Op, go with Turo and other rentals like exotic rentals.com
You can get Porsche, Bentley, etc from Turo but if it is limbo, Ferrari etc then get it from other locations.

By that rationale, apartment buildings and hotels should all be empty, and should be buying a car of some sort every time you step off the airplane in a new city.

Porsche is so pedestrian and boring, unless you can get something truly special like a GT3. Even then, most people won't give it a second look. Same for Bentley - yawn. If you are going to rent something, rent something truly exotic - A Ferrari, Lambo, McLaren, or a Koenigsegg if you can find one.

A Porsche can kill an inexperienced, overconfident driver just as well as a less refined exotic.

Yea, but you will be more stylish in the other exotics.

Haha, right??!

What an absolutely ignorant statement.

So all rental companies should go out of business??
Property management/car rental/public libraries too????!!!!
