| I saw an ad on TV for a the Jeep Wagoneer starting at $61k. My middle class teacher parents had one of these in the 1980s when I was growing up. What is wrong with America? |
Too many people with more money than brains. |
| It’s a luxury SUV playing on nostalgia |
| I saw one on vacation last week. So ugly. I don't get it. |
| Enjoy $12 gas with that. |
| Wait until you find out about the Grand Wagoneer |
If I’m paying that price I want a luxury badge at least Acura or Lexus. But I wouldn’t pay that much or close to it. |
It’s not targeting anyone cross shopping a Lexus |
Where is gas sold for $12? It’s still $3 cheaper even in Mendocino. |
Yes they are re over $100k. I cannot fathom why anyone would buy this car. |
Please tell us what luxury brand 3 row suv you can get for $60k. |
|
You grew up rich. Only the wealthy person on block had a new wagoner growing up.
We drove beat up used Chevys that barely ran. |
| Cadillac has a super luxury car coming out that costs $300,000. Called inflation |
Toyota and Honda are luxury brands? Doubtful. |
For one, a lot of people make a lot of money where a car is a totally insignificant expense. And also because these huge SUVs weigh a lot, so they qualify for that special income tax write off. And the rich people who can afford them like to one-up their neighbors and social circle with the latest and greatest. Since the Tahoe, Navigator, and Yukon are a bit stale, they go get the new $100K Jeep GRAND Wagoneer. Also one-ups their friends who only have the regular Wagoneer. |
