| You were fired 5 plus years ago and the reason you were let go is because you were unable to work full-time? |
| Maybe. But probably not. |
| No |
| No. If they wanted to keep you they would have. |
| I have and never got far |
| Sounds like less than being fired and more like mutually-agreed separation. |
|
No
Never look back |
| Nope. |
| No, you have baggage there. Leave the baggage there and look elsewhere. |
| if they let go, they probably had more issues than what they told you officially (i.e., unable to work full time). |
| There are some major corporations that will not rehire you if you have been fired from any of their affiliated jobs/companies in the past. For example, in high school you get fired from walking off the minimum wage job at a local Wal-Mart then you won't be able to go work as in-house counsel in Bentonville years later. |
| No, move on… |

It is not just fired. If they code you do not rehire you are toast. My company unless strong performer or higher can't come back. It is ironic not much folks know and they bust their butt last two weeks to leave on good terms. Meanwhile a person getting fired gets the same do not hire code.
My old company some kid in HR somehow entered do not re-hire when off boarding. She was like 21 fresh out of school and must have just hit it. I only found out as during background search at new company it came up. Also with big severance they wont hire back. I got let go with top top ratings in a firm I was at 10 years when bought out. I got a very large severance package. Meanwhile I got coded do not rehire. No one wants to have paid out a big severance than rehire the person |
