Vancouver
It's just nice and pleasant. It has a good feel to it. Also Banff area. Quebec Toronto is low on the list. |
| Regina, because it rhymes with fun. |
| Vancouver. It’s scenic- strikingly so if you’re from the East Coast- and has great food. Toronto is boring but that’s possibly because I have family there so we never do anything especially fun. |

We just got back from a Canada vacation (Montreal, Quebec, PEI and Halifax). Have also visited Toronto which is fine but not high on list of places to revisit.
Montreal and Quebec are both charming - they both have historic areas that feel very European plus both are Francophile. Very scenic with lots of options for nature based outings and both also have very urban feels/offerings. PEI is like stepping back into time. It’s very green and lush and quaint. We also really enjoyed Halifax and our outing to Peggy’s Cove. Vancouver and Banff are both high on my list for next trip. |
Along with the slogan "Experience Regina ". |
| Vancouver for travelling; Whitehorse for where I’d like to move |

#1 Vancouver
#2 Quebec City Did not really enjoy Montreal - felt like a big city anywhere. |
|
Quebec City/Montreal are neat
I must say, though, that Ottawa really exceeded my expectations. It was great! |
My fav was “Regina, Always Welcoming” |
| If you're into cycling hills, Mont Tremblant is incredible. |
| I think Vancouver is pretty but dull. We were there a few years ago and there was no Uber or Lyft, just cabs that were slow to pick up and unreliable. Seemed like a better place to live than visit. Montreal on the other hand has a distinct vibe - can’t think of any other city that feels so North American and European at the same time. Love the Outremont and Le Plateau areas. |
| I didn’t mind Calgary |
| Vancouver because it's home, and the best place on Earth. |
| Any Canadian recommendations not terribly far from Toronto? We have a road trip planned but I think Montreal is too far, so we were planning on Niagara plus Toronto but wondering if that will be a disappointing trip. |
