Other than 7 passengers, what is your most important feature? Overall size (small or large), handling, etc.

I see a lot of the Kia telluride. I hear they compare well to the more traditional luxury brands.

Are you ok with compromising trunk space to have that 3 rd row?
Otherwise, get a mini van where the trunk space is deep (unlike an SUV).

DO you need 7 every day? Or exception based short trips? Any car seats?

I would not do a telluride for 7 for anything other than a short trip around town / carpool / for tweens.

The 3rd row is not comfortable for long trips for older teens if you had 3 across

If you are getting a traverse just get an Odyssey or Sienna- you aren't fooling anyone

If you need to haul 7 AND their luggage for family road trips, that's a different vehicle than you would get for a family of five that occasionally picks up the grandparents on the way out to dinner.
