Do you get your top choice?

I am currently scheduling my c section at Sibley and had to submit my top 3 date choices to Reiter Hill. I guess their scheduler works with Sibley and they determine a date.


Do you usually get your top choice? Also, I’ve heard they only schedule in the morning hours since you are fasting. Does anyone know what
Time slots the c sections usually take place?

My experience was at Inova Fairfax. I didn’t really have a choice re date, it was just the day my OB will be at the hospital. My OB did tell the coordinator to schedule me for a morning slot. The scheduler worked with the hospital, then confirmed the 11:00 am slot with me. Then about a week before my scheduled c-section, the scheduler called again to say that I’ve been moved up to the 9:30 am slot. The earlier the better imo, so I was happy with the change.
