Should I insure my pup before first vet visit or wait until after the visit?

Selected a high deductible FIGO plan for our 8 week pup who we picked up TODAY. Got first shots and vet visit 2 weeks ago. So as of right now there are no preexisting conditions I guess. Should I buy the plan today or wait until tomorrows vet visit?
