Dp. My dentist doesn't do extractions, etc. He does restorations and refers to experts for extractions, root canals, etc.

Is this for a baby tooth or permanent? My DD had to have lots of baby teeth pulled and her regular dentist did it. You shouldn’t need an oral surgeon for baby teeth. DD’s dentist is Dr Ensor in Rockville.

My son has impacted tooth and it’s kind of complicated . So the orthodontist prefers it to be an oral surgeon. The one she recommended does not take any insurance and does not have availability until late September . So looking for other options . Thanks

I will second Dr. Abel. My DD had two extractions and a frenectomy with him. Corny jokes and great assistants and everything healed up smoothly.

Dr. Kashif Poshni in Rockville. He removed an adult canine tooth that was growing in sideways for my 12-year-old son. I was highly confident in his diagnosis that the tooth needed to come out and couldn't be saved; he also did a fantastic job on the surgery.

My sons problem is kind of same . His adult tooth is impacted and growing sideways . So what did they do for your child for the missing canine tooth ? Do you have an implant now ? Also did orthodontist work help him with that problem . Or did you find it very late ?

Not that he can't. He simply won't.
