I made meatballs on Sunday. Had too much meatball mix, so I refrigerated half of it, and am now using that meat to make more meatballs and cook them today. Was is OK to refrigerate it? It's the same thing as refrigerating raw hamburgers, and cooking them up a day or so later. That's fine, right? |
| As far as I know, this would be fine. As long as the meat does not look weird or have an off smell, I have done this before.(with ground beef though, not meatball mix) If you are concerned, maybe you could check the temp of the meatballs to make sure they are done? |
