| Why? I don’t understand why so many women still choose to damage their skin to tan when they can get a tan out of a bottle. |
| Just…stop thinking about this. Then you will be fine. |
I don’t understand women who care so much about what other people do. Mind your own business. You’ll be much happier that way. |
| Either way, It's totally weird to darken your skin period. |
| My guess is they're not trying to tan just feel the sun on their skin which is just not the same as a tanning bed (I love this feeling). When I do this I fully lather up with 60+ |
| Because slathering chemicals on your skin on a regular basis is super-healthy? |
| They are living in the moment and don't think their skin will look like a leather shoe at 35. More bad decisions. |
+1 I am pretty baffled at the idea that you think a spray tan is better for your health than just spending some time outside. |
| I love the warmth of the sun on my skin. It feels so good and therapeutic. I don’t lay out for a prolonged time unless on vacation or at the beach- but I wear high SPF year round |
Yep, this! But I honestly don’t bother with the sunscreen. I have more melatonin than a white girl, get regular checks at the derm and in mid-40s with no wrinkles. |
+1 it’s good for my mental health I’m late 30s, wrinkle free, tight neck, no sun spots, so I think it’s been fine for me. |
|
Why do you care? Some of us don’t burn easily and wear sunblock anyway. And even if we don’t it’s none of your biz.
Also, really weird if you go ask “why would people want to be darker?” What do you say to people who have naturally dark skin? |
| Vitamin D, OP. Can't get that from a bottle. We are meant to have the sun shining on us sometimes. |
A thousand times THIS. Worry about yourself. |
+1 I enjoy my time in the sun. |
