WOW! No wonder we have record inflation. Some of these schools should be ashamed.

My son's school got more than 2 million
|
| Yea, it's pathetic. |
How does this work? I am naice on this process. I don't understand how Sidwell for example gets a 5.2 million dollar loan and Landon 2.7 ( sorry not picking on them I have a child at each). |
| naive sorry. |
Looks like it is higher loans for higher numbers of employees. How does Sidwell have over 300 employees? They must not have subcontractors for food and cleaning services. |
| My kid’s teensy tiny little preschool got $700k. They didn’t refund a cent during that time. Pretty sure the owner lined her pockets with it. |
How did they get the money ? Because their Boards all have lots of Finance people on them, bankers etc.... so they got a tip and , with that, first dibs on the free , easy money Access- it is what it is about |
| 5M for Sidwell… |
| GDS refused PPP money because taking the funds woukd have conflicted with the school’s focus on social Justice. |
they couldn’t use the money for refunds? |
| What about Holton |
There were fairly rigorous reporting requirements for how the money was used in order to be forgiven. Otherwise it was a loan that had to be repaid. |
Not really 60 percent I believe on payroll which I am told tuition dollars pay for. So where did all this money go? Sidwell 5.2 million what’s the accounting on that. This sounds like a slush fund. |
Holton initially applied for and received a loan but eventually returned the money. |
