| Do you miss working? |
| No |
| Nope |
| I did for a few years. I still do. I just make being a mom and managing the house my job now because my kid needs me. I have a SN kid. |
| No, not really. I liked my field of work but I found I really love being a sahm and all the one on one time I get with my kids. I also actually like going to the park, doing arts and crafts with them, coming up with experiments to do, cooking with them etc. I find it harder than my old job but also fun. |
| Not the kind of work I was doing. |
| Not at all. |
|
No. I would like to have an interesting job, yes. But that's different from just wanting to "work". My previous job had become toxic because of my boss.
|
| Not the work but the people. I miss the company of my co-workers very much. And I miss getting up and dressed up every day. I miss the excitement of my job, too. |
| Not one bit. |
|
Yes. I am a nurse and I love the excitement and fulfillment of the ICU. I miss the adult conversations and friendships.
I’m going to go back . |
| Not at all |
| People who didn’t like their jobs are more likely to become SAHMs and therefore those people are less likely to miss it. |
| I do. |
|
I don’t miss my last job but I miss working in my chosen field. I get together with friends who are still in the industry and get big pangs of jealousy. I feel dull in their presence, to one perfectly honest.
And I think DH sees me differently. |
