Fresh(est) Pita?

Inspired to make my own dips and need some great pita. Any recommendations?

Mediterranean Bakery in Alexandria is great. You can also easily make your own naan for your dip.

It’s a flat bread that’s easy to dip that doesn’t take as much of a time commitment as pita because it doesn’t need yeast 🤷‍♀️

Lebanese taverna. Particularly if you order it from the restaurant and it comes fresh. Very good.

I love The Perfect Pita hummus and pitas - Whole Foods sells them.

Agree Naan and pita can often be used interchangeably. But, Naan does usually need yeast.

Bakedsome pita is NOTICABLY better than any other grocery store pita. I buy from FreshDirect, not sure where else it’s available.

You can also buy from a local middle eastern restaurant or bakery that bakes them in house. Few do these days, but it’s great to support them. Bakedsome is the closest I’ve found to fresh baked.

This is the answer - they sell them fresh out of the oven, still warm!
