suggest a restaurant for Sunday night

Friends in town for holiday weekend, want a restaurant for 8 people (adults and teenagers), at Wharf maybe or another DC ish fun area that takes reservations. Any suggestions? Not crazy expensive or steak, 2 vegetarians, prefer American, Italian or Latin American food. TIA!

I think most places at the Wharf either are expensive or don’t take reservations! What about Farmers, Fishers in Georgetown? You still get the water vibe.

How about one of the Jose Andres restaurants in Penn Quarter? All of them will have good vegetarian options. The ones I’ve been to do take reservations.

Maybe ilili at the wharf - on the expensive side but lots of vegetarian and sharing options.
