| Or are there any cheaper options? |
| Note that the complete self driving on Tesla is still very much a work in progress and not safe to trust yet. You have to be paying attention. |
| Tesla is not self driving. You are supposed to have your hand on the wheel and pay attention. |
| I am surprised that someone who could buy a Tesla doesn't know the difference between Teslas and Tesla's. |
You ever hear of autocorrect? |
| Google SAE Semi-Autonomous Level 2 |

Other vehicles have self driving on the highways.
I will never buy a Tesla because Musk is such an outspoken hate filled Republican. |
Cry more. |
| Most modern cars are capable of doing what Tesla does. The detection systems and cameras on Porsche and Audi are far better than Tesla, and they also have adaptive cruise control, lane departure control, etc. These manufacturers do not enable self driving for one simple reason - it is not a realiable system and prone to both machine and user error. Only Musk's outsized ego and lust for money and fame allowed him to enable and claim "FULL self driving." Try fixing your panel gaps and trunk leaks first buddy |
| There are no self driving vehicles, we may need to wait for AGI |

The Chevy Bolt EUV has super cruise.

With lane assist and adaptive cruise control on my Subaru, I jokingly call it “Poor Man’s Auto Pilot.”
You can get those features for under $40K! |
| Nissan vehicles with ProPilot 2.0 (https://www.nissan-global.com/EN/INNOVATION/TECHNOLOGY/ARCHIVE/AD2/) are quite impressive. The ramp-to-ramp is decently done well. GM Super Cruise (https://www.cadillac.com/world-of-cadillac/innovation/super-cruise) is another example. |
| Yeah I’m sure Musk is the only Republican in the entire automobile industry. Maybe liberals should stop buying cars. |
Thanks, MAGAT, but I love my new VW. |
