| I’m in a new relationship but have trouble deciphering my own feelings- it is a bit in the in-between stage where I slightly feel insecure, or am not sure if it’s my gut telling me it’s not the right one. How can you really tell? |
|
Can you share more details?
The truth is that you can't really tell right away. People will say, I knew it was love at first sight but by definition there's strong confirmation bias in such relationships. |
| Is this a common feeling for you? Or a new one? If it is a common feeling, what have you done in the past? How did that pan out? Are you comfortable dealing with uncertainty? Because that's usually inherent in new relationships. Do you rush into things, or are you generally hesitant? |
| A new relationship *should* mean that there's not a commitment. It is then reasonable to let time give you more information. |

Huh? To me, a new relationship at minimum means exclusivity, and therefore commitment, though def not marriage. |
It can br anything from bad gut feeling to your relationship looking pale compared to your friends on Facebook or Instagram. Ponder and explore, what it really is. |
Take your time or move on, don't rush in. |
