Anyone who is not breathlessly announcing "it's over, Taylor provided proof that Blake blackmailed her, Blake needs to settle NOW" isn't a real lawyer. |
Taylor Swift Subpoena Dropped by Justin Baldoni Amid Blake Lively Lawsuit
|
No, anyone who says subpoenas are never withdrawn when the parties reach agreement over what will be produced, or says documents produced without a subpoena aren’t covered by a protective order, is not a lawyer. |
No one knows exactly what was turned over, not even Arlington mom. The reality is that Freedman would have filed an opposition to the motion to quash if he didn’t get what he wanted. |
The only explanation is that some of you are high, and some of you are drunk. |
Freedman also would have filed a motion to compel to obtain the VanZan subpoena he hadn't gotten what he wanted, yet he hasn't, while complaining it has never produced. |
Or if we aren't, we probably should be, reading this thread. |
He’s lying the foundation for that, has to be careful with a judge who doesn’t want a docket filled with motions, particularly motions the parties should be able to settle themselves. But the Venable subpoena is different, he still had close to a week to oppose. |
Or some of you are Lively supporters, flailing around on a bad news day. |
I hope not. I do not like BL and think she made this whole thing up because she was butthurt about who knows what. But I’m cynical at this point. |
Does anyone think Freedman is playing chess? He does seem pretty crafty. Or is it just that he’s the lawyer for the defendant and his moves and strategies reflect that? |
I kind of expect Freedman to drop some bomb late in the day tomorrow before the holiday weekend. |
