No, anyone who says subpoenas are never withdrawn when the parties reach agreement over what will be produced, or says documents produced without a subpoena aren’t covered by a protective order, is not a lawyer.

He’s lying the foundation for that, has to be careful with a judge who doesn’t want a docket filled with motions, particularly motions the parties should be able to settle themselves.

But the Venable subpoena is different, he still had close to a week to oppose.
