| What is the process for appealing grade? Child has reached out multiple times about ungraded assignments with no response. I reached out last night but fear it is too late (and still no response). |

So is it an ungraded assignment, or an appeal for a grade the student wishes to change? If the former, it will get graded. If the latter, the student probably won't get anything changed.
I agree that some teachers grade assignments at the last minute and therefore there is no room to request a grade change. |

Ungraded assignment that was late. But was told that was fine. I hope it gets graded. No grade went in for it every time checked. |

I wrote the vice principal at our school and got a response within 15 minutes. |

| So, child and I have sent multiple emails to teacher. No responses. Principal said he’d look when ParentVUE is updated. It still isn’t working. I noted that according to the report card under documents it looks like assignment was ungraded. No response. Feeling frustrated. |

Teachers do not work over the summer. What grade level is this? If MS/HS, send an email detailing the problem to the department head and the assistant principle who oversees that department. If ES - just move on, the grade doesn't matter. |

| Are you sure the teacher is grading that particular assignment. I give out lots of assignments but only grade certain ones. The kids don’t know ahead of time which ones I’m going to include in the grade book. That being said, I made sure all the grades were in a week before the last day so kids could improve their grade if they wanted to |

Yes. Unfortunately, this teacher has been slow grading all semester. My child had a 60 on interim that she said was because he hadn’t entered grades. Two days later it was a 95. |
