Is it true that the staff acts the age of the kids? For example, middle school teachers are cliquey and not as nice?

Is everyone getting straight As in HS now? Or is it just the bubble we live in?

Bubble. I work privately with several students at various schools. MCPS has made it easier for students to earn straight As. However, the vast majority of MCPS high schoolers do not earn straight As.

All have pros and cons. I think generally upper elementary is the easiest. Students are independent but grades still really don’t matter so there is more flexibility.

The county has changed drastically over the four Superintendents’ tenures. The county’s wealth and demographics looo very different from when Weast was at the helm. Starr wanted to privatize mental health before it became commonplace. Always responded to emails. Solid guy. .

What do you mean by “good?” Test scores, teacher quality, turnover, prioritizes mental health, etc.

Having a one size fits all curriculum doesn’t work when the country is as diverse as our county is.
