This is a doozy!!
All windows made out of glass block Cooktop as a stand alone island, no counter space around it, and the control placement means you have to walk around it to use. Weird carpet, flooring angle between Family room and entertainment area. Someone please explain Commercial paper towel dispenser, trash can combo in bathroom in main floor Any guesses as to how many people have fallen off those stairs? This is just the main floor 😳 https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/11957-Canterbury-Dr-Sterling-Heights-MI-48312/83614660_zpid/ |
| Oh my….. |
| Wow! That level of intentionally bizarre and terrible is hard to come by. |
|
"You will be saying WOW from the moment you drive up to the 7 car driveway and see the ZERO MAINTENANCE Timberland siding...."
Wow is the right word for it! Oh my. I don't know if I hate it, or am intrigued by it. So much flagstone. Such a tiny lot. the glass enclosed gym in the "hallway" is really a conversation starter. Truly none of your guests will ever be bored, they'll have many many questions. |

This is OP, just realized they highlighted the ‘floating staircase’. Is this a desirable thing?!? Of all the things I’d prefer not to be floating, it’s a staircase!!
|
|
Floating staircases are cool.
But the house is a nightmare from the 80s. |
You are correct, floating staircase can look cool. But floating with no handrail?!? |
|
I love it!! Surely I'm not alone. It's far superior to the thousands of cookie-cutter homes.
The terrarium in the corner, the aquarium in the kitchen (guess it explains why the hot cooktop is separated), all the water features, the pool. How is this so cheap? |
| sterling heights is the manassas of metro detroit |
| Is that a pool in the basement? And Why is the outdoor pool a koi pond? |
|
This house is in MICHIGAN.
Why did you post it on a DC based board? |
| This is amazing |
| Set for lots of Pr0n films. |
| I love when people just f-ing GO FOR IT like this! It’s so much more interesting than your standard house. I would never buy this, or live in it, but you have to respect someone who knows exactly what they want… |
| The owner is an aquatic engineer. I wonder where he is going next. Hollywood? Sea world? |
