| Have a hankering for really good fried shrimp. Salt Line doesn't have. Any recs? TIA? |

Did you ask Salt Line?
Most places that have shrimp or other seafood will do fried shrimp/seafood plates/platters upon request. They don't put it on the menu because they don't have the fryer capacity to handle a table of six coming in and everyone ordering a fried dish. Where do you live and how far are you willing to drive?Would shrimp tempura cut it, or do you want a heavier american batter. |
| Tbh nowhere. My husband and I are from Georgia and you just cannot find lowcountry style good fried shrimp here. It’s all frozen SeaPak crap |

Mei Wah — in Friendship Heights. I like the shrimp with spiced salt, but they have a plain version.
I haven’t had the shrimp there, but Jerry’s Seafood is very good overall. |
| I had a great fried shrimp/fish at the Grillfish in DC on NH Ave. It was only $24 and I had 2 meals out of it. Huge + delish! |

This is true. I'm from rural eastern NC (Edenton) and you just don't have it up here. The green beans are all wrong too. |
