Infertility Support and Discussion

Hi! So, I'm new at the OPK and I had a question:
I know that the discharge that's milky white is signaling ovulation, but the predictor kit said not to start testing until May 18th or something. The discharge started today. So, do I start testing today or on May 18th? Should I just start now and buy another kit if I run out of strips? Does the ovulation really start after the discharge is particuarly heavy? I'm confused! |
| The kit recommended start is just a guideline. You can start whenever you want. If you cycle is very regular, then kit start date is probably pretty good. If your cycle is short or irregular, more testing certainly couldn't hurt. |
| Thanks! Do you know if the discharge means that the ovulation is coming or has already started? |

Discharge = ovulation already started. The purpose of the discharge is to help the sperm make their way up to the egg.
P.S. When in doubt, have sex!
