Hershey Park and the Hershey Hotel

Heading there with our 2 kids, ages 5 and 7, for the long weekend. Any tips? Restaurant recommendations? Thanks in advance!!

Dining wise, Hershey Park has a lot of fast food options and variety. I don't remember where we ate but there are a couple of areas where there are restaurants close together (one is Overlook Food Court) which is easy if you have family members with different tastes.

Outside of the park, we liked the Chocolate Avenue Grill in downtown Hershey - they have a nice outdoor seating area. I remember the salad I ordered was delicious and the other family members enjoyed their food as well.

If you're interested in doing the water park, you might plan to head there first thing when the park opens. I remember we did rides first but by the time we switched to the water park in the afternoon the lines were INSANE (maybe everyone else had the same idea).

Unless there are multiple Friendly's in Hershey, I think the Friendly's closest to the park closed.

THere is a new restaurant in Hershey - the Chocolatier. RIght at the entrance to the park.
