Prius trunk space?

For a trip out west I have rented (fingers crossed anyway) a 2022 Prius and am wanting to pack light ASAP for our family of 4. For those of you who are familiar with recent Prius models, how many suitcases should I be able to fit? 3 carry-ons? 1 large suitcases and 2 carry-ons.

I know this is a silly question, but I am trying to avoid surprises when we land. The car rental website says 3 suitcases, but I didn't know if that meant 3 carry-ons, or like 3 large ones.

We have definitely done one large and carryons in our 2020 Prime Three large would probably not work.
