| Traveling with tweens to Puerto Rico. I'm sure they would love to jump off the pier at Crash Boat Beach. I know they won't jump once or twice but probably 50 times! I am concerned about the swim back to the shore as some of piers appear far from the shore. Are there rip tides around that part of the beach? TIA |

It's been 5 or 6 years since I've been but if my memory serves me correctly Crash Boat is very safe and calm.
There are also branches of the pier that don't go as far out and would be even safer. I probably wouldn't let them jump off the platforms in the open water though, even though lots of people do. |
| Crash boat is a safe beach. Loads of run. Check out surfing for teens at 787 Surf in Rincon. And take them to Gozalandia waterfalls, people jump off that beautiful waterfall into a deep pool below and the scenery is fantastic. |
