| ?? We both really like the name Kate but are not sure it goes. All the other names we come up with that we agree on are for boys. Help? |
| Eleanor (Nell) and Shirley |
| Isadora and Katherine |
|
Kate and Lilly
--Mom of Kate (love the name) |
|
I think Griffin, Theo, and Kate sounds great.
What boys names do you like? That might give us some sounds to work with. I think Kate's sister should have really different sounds and rhythms to her name, but the same kind of no nonsense vibe. I like Griffin, Theo, Rosemary and Kate (really Katherine) Griffin, Theo, Eleanor and Kate Griffin, Theo, Meg (really Margaret) and Kate (really Katherine) |
| Margot and Rosie |
| Megan or Meredith to match with any of the recommendations you have so far |
Broken neck lady? No way. |
| Nola |
OP here. I think we like names in this genre more than the old lady name genre. Although I may like Lily too, not sure. |
| How about Kate and Laurel? |
|
I think Kate would work with a ton of names.
I like Edith Jane Violet Emma Rose |
| Dore and Dora, obviously. |
|
Griffin and Theo are great, and not matchy-matchy. Kate goes with everything.
Go with Katherine. Then ... Katherine and Eleanor (Kate and Ellie or Nora) Katherine and Margaret (Kate and Meg) These are classics, though, and I do feel like you want something with a little flair. Maybe a slightly-out-there Irish name like Roisin, Sinead, Neve? Slightly underused classics like Alice or Veronica? |
