Middle school grade

My DD got A in 3 quarters, and B in last quarter in Spanish, what will be the final grade?

An A for both Semester 1 and 2. Q3 A plus a Q4 equals an A for the semester in MCPS grading. MCPS only has semester final grades, there is no year end grade.

Quarters 1 and 2: A+A=A. Quarters 3 and 4: A+B=A. Both semester A's will be on the transcript.

I'm not sure that's true. I thought in middle school they report all quarters, not semesters like in high school.

You're right, for most middle school classes, but Spanish and other world language classes are graded like high school classes, by semester, even if taken during middle school.

Unless it is one of those full year, one-semester FL classes, then it is graded like a typical MS course
