Feeding baby right after spit-up?

Anonymous
Newborn DD just about a week old. She's been spitting up quite a bit since birth (swallowed a lot of amniotic fluid) and I try to keep her upright after feeds. She probably does it 1 out of every 5 feeds. Hoping this is not a sign of GERD/reflux and she's just new and figuring out her tummy now that my milk is in.

But I'm wondering what to do in this situation....if she shows hunger signs right after spitting up do I feed her right away or give it some time? She just ate, spit up about 30 mins later and now is rooting around.

My now 5 year old used to nurse, spit up, and then resume nursing. In her case, for whatever reason, she could keep that second round down.
