Lots of posts about the best NoVa club for middle school girls. Just looking at the schedules for Live Love Lax this week is pretty instructive around who is playing the most competitive schedule (which is what is needed at this level to improve.). In order from easiest schedule to hardest
2028 Pride B: Top Guns B, Jersey Shore B, Phantastix West, BLC Blue Stars B: YJ North, Philly Blast B, YJ C, Limelight Stars A: YJ North Rockland, Phantastix B, MD United West, Coppermine North YJMA: CavLax, Liberty, Check-Hers, Top Guns A Pride A: SW Blue, Phantastix A, NEMS, MDU 2027 Stars B: Jersey Shore Select, Mad Dog Shore, Integrity B, Aim B Pride B: Dynasty Elite B, Phantastix West, Hoco Black, YJ North B Stars A: Uproar, Pride Loudon, YJ North A, Philly Freedom MC Elite: HHH Philly, M&D Red, CCLax, YJ B Pride A: M&D Black, NEMS, Heros Green, YJ A 2026 Stars B: Yellow Jackets C team, Rebels, Phantastix West, Dynasty Elite B Pride B: Yellow Jackets B, Coppermine North, YJ North, Phantastix B YJMA: BLC Blue, Libery Lax, Pride Loudon, Integrity B Stars A: SoZo, Integrity A, Steps Blue, Legacy Blue MC Elite: Aim, YJ A, Dynasty Elite A, Predators Pride A: Phantastix A, HHH Phily, SW, Heros Green Regardless of level, Pride A is playing the toughest schedule. MC Elite playing much more challenging teams than Stars across all level (even the 26s where Stars is a top 10 nation team). YJMA playing better schedules than the comparable B teams. Next Level, Cavs aren't in this tourney. |

Teams sign up for the tourney's months in advance. I can only assume Stars 26 got slotted before they got those 3 Pride girls that catapulted them to the top 10? Should be a fairly easy weekend for them as they avoid M&D and Hero's. |

Pride may be playing the toughest schedule but they still aren't a good team, none of the DMV teams are. NEMS and Skywalkers Blue at the 28 level are not A teams, NEMS played in NGLL B and isn't good. Just to confirm, you are really saying MC Elite is a better team at all levels, especially the 26s? You can't be serious. Stars may have issues, but their 26 team is very good and beat Pride in NGLL. The rest of those 26 teams/clubs couldn't come close to beating the Stars 26 team. The YJMA teams may go winless. |

| Pride 27 beats just about everyone except Hero's and M&D (Very few if any teams do). They are a solid team and by FAR the best 27 team in VA/DC. I would put BLC 27 ahead of them but they've beaten BLC before as well. |

| Anyone know why next level isn’t playing in them? Seems to be a disservice to the girls by not having them at the top tournaments. |

These tourneys have year + waitlist. If you dont get in young, hard to get in. |

No, MCE is not better than the other clubs, but at least they are playing a more challenging schedule. As a result, their girls will likely get more out of this (and future) tourneys. This is more a criticism of Stars for never playing decent competition, even when they have a very good team. |

Also, I believe next level only does 2 summer tourneys for girls. One of the reasons we didn't tryout there. But to a previous point, until NL upgrades its scheduling it wont attract top talent. |

This aged well. The YJMA crew of teams should have stayed home. |
