| Quick poll - work has a pot luck and I signed up to bring something in the crockpot. Tonight my youngest tested positive for Covid. I tested negative on a rapid test. Should I still bring homemade food? Or try to buy something prepackaged? |

You should stay home for a couple of days
In the future, don't support work pot lucks. |
| I’m not going to stay home. I’m a teacher and it’s the last week of school. I will wear my mask and eat in my room alone and test daily. |
| I'm not sure it will really make a big difference, but go with prepackaged. At least you won't feel guilty. |
| DH tested negative for 3 days with symptoms. I wouldn’t participate in the potluck. But agree with your masking route at work until you test otherwise. |
| Stay home. |
| I would take it, heat will kill the germs |
She does not care and is fine infecting an entire school. |
| Take the food and enjoy your potluck! |
| I would also skip the potluck since you can not mask while eating. That would be more of an issue than the food. |
| Doesn’t matter about the food but you should definitely not be unmasked around anyone |
I get it. I would take a prepackaged something just to be safe. |
| You should definitely not bring any food. You shouldn’t be there. |
My kid caught covid in the last week of school (different system) and it sucks. She's missing so much stuff: end of year parties, visit with grandparents, potentially missing camp. Wish you'd stay home and not infect others. |
Please stay home. If my family missed vacation or my kids missed a camp week because of your selfishness, I would be livid. |
