PP here and now I'm wondering, how were people supposed to follow up on the missed connection via the City Paper? Did you have to write the City Paper if you thought that was you in the missed connection? Or did the person seeking the other person provide a contact number? Now I'm trying to remember how this worked. |

I was in Canada, and buying a gift for a friend. There was a woman serving samples and I chatted with her about what I should get. I was married at the time, but I guess she picked up I thought she was cute (but I wasn’t trying to pick her up or anything, I’m just chatty).
Got my gift didn’t think anything of it. But then a coworker shows me a missed connection in the local paper that describes me, and I was floored. Felt bad I managed to lead this woman on, but I’m sure she found someone great, she was stunning. |
