AAU type teams to focus on in middle school (boys)

Which middle school AAU basketball teams best prep a kid to be noticed/recruited for a top high school with an excellent basketball program?

Add in Loaded and Melo to the list. Actually Melo well above DC premier.

These are lower lever and won’t get you as many looks.

Takeover (boys) doesn’t appear to have as much of an Instagram presence as Takeover (girls). How do you find info on the boys’ team (tryouts etc).

Here is main page. Try searching by TTO (Team TakeOver) for example, here is the 2027 boys page: https://instagram.com/teamtakeover2027?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= . Be warned, TTO is probably top 2 in the area. Very, very hard to get a contributing spot, especially at middle school level as you’re talking about very high level 14-15 year olds that have been with org 4+ years. Probably have better luck with high school exposure playing PYBL league. My son was “recruited” by two great schools playing PYBL. While he also plays for one of the teams mentioned, the coaches like PYBL because they can see them all in one sitting versus tracking different leagues (Nike, Addidas, Under Armour).

Reviving this helpful thread now that the PYBL season has concluded.

Do any of these teams standout in terms of:

1) excellent coaching/development
2) well organized (practices planned in advance)
3) sane amount of travel
4) metro accessible

Kid has been playing up this past season, but I would like to find a really great 2029 team.

New World Basketball is the best hands down. I saw on Instagram how all of their kids got into local privates as Freshman- boys side anyways
