ISO Recommendations for doctor who prescribes ADHD Meds in Bethesda/Chevy Chase/DC

| Our daughter has ADHD and her pediatrician originally prescribed her meds. She’s since gone off the meds because they didn’t seem to be that effective, and I would like to find a doctor/psychiatrist that is more specialized in prescribing medications and will work with our daughter to find the one that works best for her. Our pediatrician is great, but this is not her area of expertise. We are okay with keeping DD off of meds for the time being, but I imagine she will need to take something to help with her focus once she is older and school becomes more challenging. Thank you! |

| It’s extremely hard to find someone who is taking new patients. I recommend that you ask your pediatrician for recommendations and ask that they call directly to see if they can help you get an appointment. |
