This story, but most especially the initial three replies of Goulet insisting it’s all a lie, are utterly disqualifying to me.

Funny that this thread popped up again after getting deleted. I will just note the odd coincidence that every time Goulet gets a key endorsement, a weakly sourced hit piece shows up against him in WCP by the same reporter.

That endorsement from the guy who lives nowhere near Ward 3 and voted to overturn the will of DC voters because he received $10k from a corporate lobby? No one who doesn't want Goulet elected doesn't want to talk about that.

Goulet says, "I disproved your last article on racial insensitivity by releasing the actual video of what I said."

He answered a question about how to increase diversity in Ward 3 by talking about the problems of voucher recipients, which he reported were overwhelmingly black. He released a video which convieniently omitted the question because his response in context would have been absolutely damning. What an absolute tool this guy is.

That explains why Goulet popped off so nastily in the comments. He was adamant he didn't say what is attributed to him. He tried to bully the newspaper.

He must not have noticed there is audio. He is a liar and entirely unfit for office.
