How bad will the Bay Bridge be on Friday?

We're not even going to the beach, but our kids wants to check out the new Playseum in Easton. Our plan was to go this Thursday to avoid traffic, but they just announced they'll be closed then, so that only leaves Friday.
Ideally we'd leave our house in Rockville around 9am and probably head back home around 3pm. Is this a crazy idea given beach traffic? |

| It’s not a holiday weekend so you should be ok going in the morning and coming back in the afternoon. Just an fyi, they may have 2 way traffic on the westbound span in the afternoon to allow for 3 lanes heading to beaches. If you don’t like being on the bridge when it’s 2 way ( I don’t) check the times that starts. |
