Recommendations for books about money/finances for kids?

Anonymous
Anyone have any recommendations for a kid-appropriate book(s) on explaining finances to children. Looking for elementary and middle school ages.

Thanks!

“Whatever Happened to Penny Candy?” Book (middle grades) by Richard J. Mayberry. It’s an easy read re: economics as relates to success in career / biz / investments. He has a whole series called the “Uncle Eric Series” which are written as if letters by an economist to a young family member. I’ve only read this one, but jusging by the title only, you may be more interested in the one called, “Uncle Eric Talks About Personal, Career and Financial Security.”

There’s also quite of bit of kids stuff by Dave Ramsey’s group. We’ve done the middle school dvd plus workbook.

Yes, I recommend ramseysolutions.com too. They have great resources for children as well as adults. Another good one is Money Matters for Kids. I started teaching about money at 5 and 6 years old. Teaching them early on about allowance, saving, and giving will end up saving you tons of money as you raise your children too.
