Citi Mini Double or Uppa Baby Vista

Anonymous
I am expecting my second child this September and am trying to figure out a stroller option. My kids will be 18 months apart. I want something that will accomodate our Peg Perego infant car seat. So it looks like either the Uppa Baby Vista or Double Citi Mini stroller. I'm a little concerned about the width of the citi mini, but I like how both kids can look out and the weight goes up to 50 lbs. The Vista manuevers well and is more compact. Any advice/suggestions? Thanks.

This doesn't address your question, but they just released the Baby Jogger City Select, and it looks awesome!

What kind of terrain will you be taking your stroller on and will you be in and out of the car? Also, how big is your older kid?

My daughter will be 18 months. At 14 months now she's 21 lbs and 30 inches. I'm thinking trips to the mall and walks with the dogs in our neighborhood. We currently have a bugaboo and a maclaren, both which are heavily used.

Have you ruled out the phil & teds line? Won't take the car seat but does lie flat for newborns. Everyone I know who has the citi mini double loves it but it's not the greatest on rough sidewalks (similar to the maclaren). If you want to upgrade to a bit more all terrain, I'd look at the bumbleride indie twin. It's quite short (front to back), comes with a universal adaptor bar and seriously gorgeous.
