My son typically gets good grades in math but he struggles a bit because of ADHD and I fear that 10th grade is going to overwhelm him.
I was hoping a little work over the summer would help. Other than a private tutor, what can I do? His father can help him but without the curriculum, it's less efficient. Any resources that you found helpful? Books, online courses? Chemistry is also something I might have him work on a bit too over the summer. |

| Outschool has some good programs to prep for math. |
| Check with your local high school. DD's is offering non credit math "boost" classes taught by the high school teachers in prep for next year. |
You can find the curriculum at https://www.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/curriculum/math/high/algebra2/ And khan academy is really good. |
| Landon has a summer class. Mcps has free virtual tutoring. |

| Mathnasium might be an option for you. They assess and identify the weak areas that need more work. With how COVID happened, I am afraid next year’s Algebra 2 will be a mess for many students. I haven’t heard whether MCPS will be making any changes to curriculum. |
Kids have been in person all year. There is zero Covid and other excuses now. Get your kid a tutor if they need help. |
