How is your 2 month sleeping? What does that schedule look like? Are you sleep training? What shifts are you taking with partner/loved ones?
Still sleeping in 3 hours shifts over here...argh |

DD eats around 8-9pm, sleeps until 2-3am, eats, sleeps until 7-8am. It helps a LOT if we have her outside for the hour or so before bed, seeing the sunset helps her wind down and sleep longer.
We didn’t “sleep train” as in CIO, but we used the book “Newborn Sleep Solution” which is more about reading cues and developing routines. It’s worked great so far. H technically takes the 8-2am shift and I take 2-8am, but he tends to wander off. Baby was screaming at 1am a few nights ago and he was puttering around the garage. It really pisses me off. When that happens I do the feeding then go sleep downstairs in the guest room so he can handle the rest of the night. |
I know this pisses you off, but it made me laugh ) how old is DD?

| Mine are much older now but around that age they went to bed 8/9pm and woke for feedings around 12/1 and 4/5 am. I didn't sleep train for overnight until they were down to one pesky wake at 5 am on the dot around 4-6 months but I did practice healthy sleep habits like having a bedtime routine and trying to have them fall asleep in the crib well before then. I EBF and SAHM so there were no shifts, I did it all. |
| how long does this sleeplessness last for |
DD is almost 4 months but was a preemie, so developmentally she’s 2 months. Had a great night last night - slept from 7pm-12am, then 12am-6am. Sleeping through the night is so close I can taste it… |
