No thread on Blake students egging Sherwood cars yesterday?

No thread yet?

Speculation that it was sports related based on the cars egged.

Teachers and parents apparently got tag info. Uncertain if any kids were directly detained.

Is this the baseball team? They did that to our team when we played them. Despicable

I mean.. it's a stupid, annoying prank. We tp'd our chem teacher's house. He laughed about it on Monday.

Eggs can be washed off the car somewhat easily.

Now, if they did that to a house that would be bad because it's harder to wash off.

And I do not ever condone violence or racist taunts of any kind. But the egg throwing seems a bit benign, though no less annoying as heck.

ITA they should be punished by forfeiting the game.

It didn’t happen at a game. It happened yesterday during school hours.

It's a prank.

Retaliation for racist taunts from Sherwood students?

If there was no racism etc involved, it's a teenage prank and most people don't care. Why don't we have a thread every time someone's house gets tp'ed?

It is allegedly related to football, but football season ended a long time ago. Like, a really long time ago. It doesn’t make any sense.

My kid told me several Sherwood athletes have had their cars/trucks damaged during games throughout the year.

FYI, the allegations against Sherwood athletes way back when turned out to be false. The female who claimed they happened ultimately recanted once the girl’s family pushed back to defend their kid who hadn’t said what the Einstein student claimed.

Regardless, the kids who did this were from Blake, the neighboring school.

Assuming they were seniors, I wouldn’t be surprised if they can’t walk at graduation.

If you don’t see the difference between tp’ing a house overnight vs a bunch of kids rolling up to a school parking lot during school hours to egg multiple cars, then…

I really don’t see a substantive difference. It’s a prank-lighten up!

Egging a car can actually damage the paint on the car (shells make little scratches). BTDT (receiving end of egging).

Yes, they keyed cars too. Actual damage and hardly a prank

I'm not sure about that -- my car got egged on Halloween and I didn't discover it until the next day. And it had damaged my paint.

I have read that statement here, on DCU,, but I don’t remember reading about it in a new source. If there is one, can you point me to it?

To the person who says egg washes off easily: With the heat we have had lately, The egg can dry and damage the paint. It’s not a harmless prank.

The administration opted not to report on the girl recanting her allegation. Pretty sure they didn’t want backlash against the liar.
